2025 AUDITIONS

Location: Scotiabank Dance Studio, 677 Davie St. Vancouver
Accepting submissions - no later than June 12, 2024
VOICE AUDITIONS - Friday, June 13th (11am-330pm)
Looking for: professional SATB (4 singers Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone)
Style: musical theatre/choral crossover
Prepare:
Excerpt from Musical Theatre or pop (upbeat)
Excerpt from Musical Theatre or pop (ballad)
Prepare SILENT NIGHT (attached) - your voice type part
Sopranos may be asked to prepare and sing A capella "Once in Royal David's City"
*Role includes readings and storytelling
*Singers may also be asked to learn some basic movement during audition.
Possible call backs Fri, June 14 at 6pm
DANCE AUDITIONS - Friday, June 13th (430pm or 515pm)
Looking for: 5 female professional dancers
Style: Tap, Jazz, Broadway, Ballet
Please come prepared to learn several different styles of dance choreography during the audition - bring appropriate shoes

Sid Williams Theatre, Courtenay (Dec 8-10)
McPherson Playhouse, Victoria (Dec 13/15),
Port Theatre, Nanaimo (Dec 16-21).
PAID contract for all performers
Contract based in Nanaimo (including rehearsals)
Under the Razzle Dazzle Productions Contract, accommodation can be provided in all locations if requested.
Members of CAEA, ACTRA, UDA and UBCP will be engaged under CAEA’s Dance•Opera•Theatre Policy
This year's singing and dancing extravaganza includes musical medleys of well known songs by Bobby Darrin and the Bee Gees, a selection of musical numbers from Mary Poppins and Frozen, a classic 80's rock tribute, a collection of well known Canadian songs, Bing Crosby's classic 'White Christmas' as well as many more classical hits and Christmas favourites.
