Producer & Director, Katy Bowen-Roberts

was raised on Vancouver island and has established herself
as a performer, teacher and producer both in Canada and Europe. She trained
at the University of British Columbia where she achieved a BMUS completing courses
in directing and performing. Performance credits include Musetta in La Boheme
(Czech Republic), Lauretta in Gianni Schicci (London, UK), Serpetta
in Die Gartnerin Aus Liebe (German),Yum Yum in The Mikado
(Port theatre, Nanaimo), Nancy in Oliver, Mary Magdalene in Jesus
Christ Superstar and most recently she was seen at the Port Theatre playing
Anna in The King and I with Ubetcha! Productions. In September 2008
Katy produced two of the Port Theatre's 10-year anniversary celebration shows
and she is now 'Programming Coordinator and Host' for the 2009/2010 Random
Acts Series at the Port Theatre. Katy is a private voice teacher at the
Nanaimo Conservatory of Music where she also runs musical theatre classes for
all ages. She looks forward to working with the talented professional artists
of British Columbia again this December for the 3rd annual production
of the Yellowpoint Christmas Spectacular.
Musical Director & Arranger, James Mark

was born and raised on the West Coast of Canada and has been studying music since the age of four. He graduated from York University in June of 2002 with an honours BFA cum laude and was presented with an award for outstanding achievement in the fine arts. James then moved to California to work on his master's degree at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). While in residence, he was very active, performing in student and faculty ensembles. He had the opportunity to play at the international press opening of the Roy Edna Disney CalArts Theatre (REDCAT) with the New Century Players (NCP) and was also featured at the Opening gala dinner at the REDCAT grand opening. He performed many other concerts at REDCAT in various ensembles during the opening season. After completing his Master's in Fine Arts, he became a member of the CalArts faculty and taught theory and musicianship as well as continuing his work in the dance department. In May of 2005, he moved back to his hometown of Nanaimo in western Canada. He is currently on facutlty at the Nanaimo Conservatory and is sessional instructor at the Vancouver Island University. James also maintains a chair in the Vancouver Island Symphony.
Choreographer, Shawna Parry (*Appearing with the permission of Canadian Actor's Equity Association)
Trained in dance with the Fay Gleeson Dance Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario, with whom she traveled and competed throughout the U.S. and Canada. After moving to Vancouver, she soon discovered that singing and acting were just as wonderful as dancing and has been immersed in musical theatre ever since. Her time now is currently spread out between performing, teaching dance and musical theatre, as well as choreographing and adjudicating for many lower mainland schools and theatre companies. Shawna's choreography was last seen in Little Shop of Horrors (Uncle Randy Productions) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Crofton House School). Favorite performance credits include dancing for the Famous Players show band, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (Metro Theatre), Nickie in Sweet Charity (Pipedream), Eve in The Diary of Adam and Eve (little apple equity co-op), a cheerleader in High School Musical (URP), Connie in A Chorus Line (VIVA Musica), Joseph and Grease (Theatre Under The Stars) and of course two seasons with the Yellowpoint Christmas Spectacular! She recently spent six months in Kamloops, BC, performing in Rhythms On The Rails (Rocky Mountaineer). Shawna is excited and honored to be working with this talented team of artists, both as a performer and choreographer.

Graphic Designer, Ann Forrest

from London, England is pursuing her graphic design career
in Vancouver. She earned a degree in Graphic Arts at Liverpool John Moores University
and has been working for the past 3 years for a global design firm FITCH in
their London Studio.
Lighting Designer, Michael Stebbings
Michael has prepared lighting designs for musical productions
in many venues. His shows include The Mikado, The Gondoliers, The Wizard
of Oz and The Music Man at the Port Theatre; Champagne Ball
at the Cowichan Theatre, Duncan; Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit for YPDG;
the Christmas Pantomime Puss in Boots
